June 28th-July 4th: Happy Independence Day!
Hello again! So glad you could stop in to check on what I’ve been up to!!
Unfortunately, due to the recent spike in COVID cases, the show at The Allegheny Grill was cancelled-total bummer, I know; however, that left an opening for me to attend what would’ve been the Venango County Bluegrass Festival at the Venango Fairgrounds. What a great way to spend July 4th! I got to pick with some old, and new, friends, and there was even some fireworks action going on! Hopefully next year, the full festival will be on!
I continue to work on my good friend Steve Ludwig’s record, and we have everything tracked for that, so now it’s just mixing and mastering! My personal goal is to have everything to you in the next month or so, but you’ll have to keep an eye on Steve’s band page, The Casual Hobos, for more information there! I’m also progressing with what will be the debut Millbillys CD, and we (the band) recently had our mutual friend, Joe Pinchotti, come into the studio to track drums! He did a fantastic job, and we can’t wait for you to hear that new product as well!
As always, I would like to remind you that if anyone out there has a project that they’re working on that needs some assistance in any way, a festival that you need someone to fill a spot, or you want to learn how to play a wicked acoustic or electric guitar, contact me and let’s chat!
Finally, I know I’ve been a super slacker when it comes to live streaming and doing my Accapella videos, but I’m hoping that I can get back on the wagon, and I’m hoping that you’ll bare with me while I’ve got other things on my plate because, well, the new stuff that’s coming is really exciting! See y’all soon!
